Parents are working hard to juggle their own jobs and responsibilities, with the academic and social-emotional needs of their children. Let us help! STARS Learning Cooperative can provide support to students, and relief for parents in a variety of ways.

Using online platforms, STARS’ academic coaches provide students with executive skill support and instruction to help them: organize a balanced schedule, manage time, prioritize assignments, and initiate and sustain attention and motivation to achieve daily and weekly goals. In addition, coaches help students develop self-awareness, self-regulation, and self-advocacy skills, which are essential as demands for independent learning and online learning increase. 

STARS’ tutors provide direct instruction in a variety of areas, including remedial reading, writing, and math. They also support students with reading comprehension, essay writing, and middle and high school math and science.

Whether students need assistance sustaining motivation to finish up this school year successfully, or would like to develop a set of tools for both classroom and online learning in the future, STARS Learning Cooperative can help.
